Cherry Tree Paints and accessories are without exception, carefully made in the UK. Each colour bears the name of a beautiful place in Devon, England that inspired the shade. All paints are certified child safe to BS EN7103:2013 for childrens rooms, furniture and toys.
Soft & Subtle Eggshell is the result of extensive testing, 17 different formulas were tried before the perfect paint product for finish and easy application was found.

Cherry Tree Soft & Subtle is a top quality eggshell based paint at an affordable price with low VOCs which will allow you to create your own superb masterpiece. Soft & Subtle requires no waxing or lacquering. Soft & Subtle can be applied with a brush, roller or even sprayed on. It can be used on your furniture painting project, on skirting boards, on architraves and on internal walls and ceilings. Even primed metals such as radiators and pipework.
Cherry Tree Soft & Subtle is the perfect paint for revamping kitchen cupboards and units at a fraction of the cost of replacing the kitchen or even just replacing the doors. A painted kitchen means a lot less distruption at home too - a kitchen can be painted in a weekend with Soft & Subtle's easy application, fantastic coverage quick drying time.

Soft & Subtle is available in 250ml and 1L tins and really does go a very long way with a coverage of approx. 14 square metres per litre (one coat).
For tricky surfaces there is also a specialist sealer available to prevent 'leach through' on your fabulous project and for extra protection, a finishing lacquer for high traffic areas. For those that just love to wax, or order the Vintage Chalk Paint to match, there's a furniture wax too!
